Meet Board Member Amy Halloran: Leadership, Service, and the Power of Collective Giving
At Impact100 Greater Sacramento, our strength comes from the remarkable women who generously share their time, talents, and expertise to help advance our mission. This month, we're proud to spotlight Amy Halloran, who is beginning her third year serving as our Legal Chair.
Amy's leadership and attention to detail help ensure strong governance and sound legal practices for Impact100 Greater Sacramento. She currently serves as Assistant General Counsel for Sutter Health, where she supports philanthropy efforts and provides legal counsel to three hospitals. With a background in estate planning, Amy brings valuable legal expertise and thoughtful leadership to our Board.
Originally from Southern California, Amy earned her degrees from UC Santa Barbara and the University of San Francisco. She and her husband, Peter, are proud parents of two daughters, including Jillian, who continues the family's commitment to giving back as an Impact100 member.
We recently asked Amy a few fun questions so members could get to know her a little better.

What aspect of Impact100 are you most passionate about?
"Bringing women of all ages and backgrounds together to support and lift up our communities. The power of women in action!"
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
"My grandmother—my mom's mom. She passed away when I was only six months old, so I never had the opportunity to know her."
What is your favorite restaurant?
"It's so hard to pick just one! Mulvaney's for a special occasion, Tacoa for amazing street tacos and a margarita, and Selland's for those nights when I don't feel like cooking."
What are your hobbies?
"Right now I'm enjoying reading great books. One of my recent favorites is Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke."
What are your favorite travel destinations?
"Usually my favorite destination is wherever I've traveled most recently! Right now I'd say Portugal and Mexico City."
Where would you love to travel next?
"I'm hoping to plan a trip to Switzerland to visit my niece."
