Meet Lisa Lang, Lead Ambassador and More!

Lisa Lang, Lead Ambassador for Impact100 Greater Sacramento

Autumn days are upon us, Ladies! This September we are highlighting another accomplished Member with a very interesting journey to joining Impact100 Greater Sacramento. Her name is Lisa Lang, and she is the Lead Ambassador for our newly-formed Ambassador Committee (13 ambassadors and growing). Lisa is also a member of our Membership Committee, our Arts & Culture Focus Group, and is an advisor for our NextGen committee.

Originally from East Chicago, Indiana, Lisa moved to California over 30 years ago. After spending 25 years in the beauty industry (and a short stint earning her real estate license and working as a loan officer), Lisa was inspired by a therapist friend and found her true calling: marriage and family therapy. She is currently pursuing her license to practice through Arizona State University.

Lisa met her husband Curtis, a Sacramento native, through U.C. Davis while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. Curtis now proudly serves as the Deputy Appointments Secretary for Governor Gavin Newsom. They have 3 adult children: two boys, Daryl and Jaylen, and one daughter, Kennedy. You may know Kennedy – she is a member of our NextGen committee, and serves as a wonderful model of outreach to other young people.

When Lisa isn't studying psychology or contributing her time to Impact100 Greater Sacramento, she doesn't keep still. She is a life-long crafter, and has also established a book club with over 50 members.

We are so grateful for the commitment and talent Lisa brings to Impact100 Greater Sacramento. Thank you, Lisa!
