Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez
Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez has spent her career at the center of California public policy, and today she puts that experience to work as Owner and Principal of Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez Consulting LLC. She advises organizations on public policy strategy, government relations, and change management. She also serves as a board member for the Sierra Nevada Conservancy.
Before launching her own practice, Jacqueline served as Chief Policy Officer for the California State Association of Counties, where she led policy development and legislative advocacy on behalf of all 58 of California's counties. Her path to that role ran through some of the most influential offices in state government — senior leadership posts at the California Department of Finance and the Office of the State Controller, and the Senate Appropriations Committee.
A lifelong Californian who grew up in Sacramento's under-resourced communities and was a first-generation college student, Jacqueline feels fortunate to have personally benefited from the generosity of the greater Sacramento philanthropic community. She is honored to be part of a group working to leverage their collective impact to give back to the community she calls home.
