Ellen Mallory

Ellen has 40 years of experience in the public and private sectors. After 15 years in  industry, Ellen became involved in city politics and local nonprofits. She was elected to the local school board and was appointed to three city commissions and a county civil grand jury. In addition to local politics, she was on the board of the San Mateo County Historical Association and President of her National Charity League chapter.

She is currently the Western Region Manager and co-owner of Laguna Greenworks.

She purchased a historic house in Sacramento in 2021, and has spent the last five years (and will spend many more) restoring the house, which is now a Historic Landmark.

Ellen wanted to find a philanthropic group here in Sacramento, and was lucky to be introduced to Impact 100. Learning about the wonderful philanthropies in the area while working with women committed to their community is a perfect match!

She has two grown daughters, Annika and Teressa, and a Corgi named Prudence.
