Aesha Abduljabar

A passionate advocate for education, mental health, and refugee communities. She serves as a Student Support Specialist with the Los Rios Community College District's Refugee Career Pathways program, supporting refugees, immigrants, and other underserved students as they navigate higher education and career opportunities.

With eight years of experience in higher education, Aesha is committed to expanding educational access and empowering students to achieve their goals. As a refugee herself, she brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work.

Aesha is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling at California State University, Sacramento, where her research focuses on refugee mental health and culturally responsive care. She also presents at conferences, educational institutions, school districts, and community organizations on refugee support, student empowerment, higher education access, and mental health.

She is honored to be part of Impact100 Greater Sacramento and looks forward to continuing to serve her community by supporting organizations that create meaningful and lasting change.
